The Lebanese Week, organized by Carrefour supermarket, is all about the promotion of local and traditional products.
In addition to selling its whole range of products at Carrefour, Terroirs du Liban, a brand by Fair Trade Lebanon, is proud to announce its participation at the “Lebanese Week” taking place from April 29th to May 9th at Carrefour with a special program throughout the period.
In addition to selling its whole range of products at Carrefour, Terroirs du Liban, a brand by Fair Trade Lebanon, is proud to announce its participation at the “Lebanese Week” taking place from April 29th to May 9th at Carrefour with a special program throughout the period.
Our partner cooperative from Qanah, Southern Lebanon, will be present
at the event to prepare and sell a large selection of daily delicious
saj; some of the featured saj fillings are: Wild Zaatar, Goat Keshek,
Goat Labneh, Bakleh with tomato and the exceptional Middle-Eastern hot sauce “Shatta”, a must-try!
Our participation at the event is supported by the US Middle-East Partnership Initiative (MEPI), under the SOFAIR project, which aims to support local and rural economy by accompanying
14 women's cooperatives and 8 small food-processing units. The place of
women within these communities is strengthened thanks to the promotion of
their involvement in the creation of added value.
