Launching of the FAIR TRADE CHARTER in Lebanon

Can all businesses of all shapes embrace the FAIR TRADE CHARTER? The answer is YES!

In response to the rising worldwide trading challenges and as the 25th of September 2018 coincides with the 3rd anniversary of the declaration of Sustainable Development Goals, the Fair Trade movement is launching its very own FAIR TRADE CHARTER to respond to these challenges and highlight “How the Global Fair Trade Movement works to transform trade in order to achieve justice, equity and sustainability for people and planet”. 

>>EVENT: 
Fair Trade Lebanon is organizing and hosting an interactive conference for the launching of the Fair Trade Charter in Lebanon in partnership with the World Fair Trade Organization, Fairtrade
International and Fair Trade Advocacy Office. 

>>WHO: 
Speakers, from a large variety of local businesses and institutions, will be present to showcase their success stories and present efficient and reliable initiatives that have proven to contribute in transforming people’s lives and achieving fairer and more sustainable business models.

at the American University of Beirut, “Michel and Sherine Bayoud” Lecture Hall, 102, Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences.
