About Fair Trade Lebanon

Fair Trade Lebanon is a non-profit NGO created in 2006 aiming to improve the livelihoods of the most disadvantaged people in rural Lebanon. The organization chose fair trade as a means of building export opportunities for small producers and food-processing cooperatives.

What is Fair Trade?

"Fair Trade is a trading partnership, based on dialogue, transparency and respect that seeks greater equity in international trade.
It contributes to sustainable development by offering better trading conditions to, and securing the rights of, marginalized producers and workers -especially in the South."
